Shanghai International Dance Center, Experimental Theater 2017 (premiere)

The choreography begins with a solo performer, as if having a flashback, then follows disconnected fragments. Dancers move 6 screens, performing the “the most ordinary movement in the world" to construct and deconstructing images.

Choreography for 14 live dancers, 2 video dancers and 6 moveable screens.  I developed 2 choreographic scores, intersecting and overlapping to create a ‘stream of consciousness’ form.   By separating the video projection surface into 6 panels vertical panels, I explored and produced a deconstructed sense of space.” - Lisa Naugle
